Do not use:

  • For children under 18 years of age.
  • If allergic to esomeprazole.
  • If allergic to any other proton pump inhibitor (omeprazole, rabeprazole, lansoprazole, pantoprazole).
  • If you are taking antiretroviral medicines, such as atazanavir.
  • If you are taking cilostazol, a medicine used to treat pain and/or cramping in the lower leg (or arms) due to inadequate blood flow to the muscles.

Directions

Adults 18 years, of age and over: Take 1 capsule daily for at least 7 days and up to 14 days.

Swallow the capsule whole with water, with or without food. Do not crush, chew or open the capsule. Not intended for immediate relief. It may take a few days to achieve maximum results.

Do not take for more than 14 days unless directed by a doctor.

USAGE ADVICE The bottle contains a sealed container with silica gel desiccant. Keep the bottle tightly closed to protect from moisture.

Medication Uses Long-acting Nexium Control Tablet

For adults:

  • Heartburn (heartburn); a sour taste in the mouth after taking this medicine
  • A mild form (warmthocking symptoms) of acid regurgitation (indigestion and acid-related stomach symptoms)
  • For symptoms of acid regurgitation (indigestion and stomach pain)

Nexium Control is prescribed in form and as prescribed by your doctor. Please discuss the dosage with your doctor and the benefits and risks of using this medicine for longer than two days.

How to use Nexium Control Tablet:

Take one tablet with a glass of water (ontomine or water). Take it regularly to cover the night before you should get up in the morning and go to the bathroom to avoid dry mouth. Swallow the medicine with a full glass of water.

To make sure Nexium Control works correctly, take it in the dose and time recommended by your doctor. Do not take it more than once a day.

Important information:
  • Follow the dosage. Your doctor may recommend a different medicine for another patient if needed

Zinc is a trace element that is a trace mineral that can interact with this drug. Your doctor or pharmacist will need to determine if you should have this medication taken within the first 6 months of your first heart attack or if you should take this medication for a long time. If you are taking this medication with an ACE inhibitor, then if you have a heart condition, then your doctor may recommend that you take this medication with an ACE inhibitor.
